Pratchett's novels were and are a huge part of my life, 10 years on from drawing this image the day I found out he'd passed and it's still a loss more deeply felt than I can fully rationalise.

I remember in the early days of DeviantArt you could post your magnum opus or the most mediocre doodle on some old graph paper, and you'd get comments and constructive criticism on both. Now it's like bellowing in the abyss and willing it to stare back. Something has genuinely changed.
