Today is my mother’s bday. She would have been 89. I attended a memorial bonfire for a man I worked with for 18 years. He died at 56. He had just been approved for disability. My mother died the day after she was approved. What can be said about a system that kills you for asking for help?

Really sick today but I woke up to this little guy with his paws up in the air. Probably the only thing to make me smile.

I have a sinus infection. Although it’s not an infection YET. But still feels awful. New drugs will cost more than they should but I won’t go hungry. And it’s raining. Although not so bad as to activate our leak. So things are just sorta not ok. Is this one of those “meh” days?
