My first illustration from Cynthia Sheppard’s course in Smarter Artschool I have two more still cooking :3 The course was a blast! Cynthia is a fantastic teacher and a very empathetic person. I loved everything: the info, the approach, the feedback sessions. So yeah, highly recommended!

My assignment for Winona Nelson's SmArtschool class: Choose a favorite book and illustrate a cover for it. I picked "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller, and my goal was to capture a similar bittersweet tone as the novel has.

The Pale Tides playtest I've been working on is coming along beautifully. New mechanics that support the core loop just organically spawn every now and then, and it always feels amazing when it happens. The Hexen are quite over-tuned rn and I LIKE it. Because I'm angry and it feels appropriate.
