This is seriously one of the most powerful shader packages I’ve ever used. The included standard shader is a great world shader, but it’s more than that. The ability to quickly and easily write your own modules with minimal boilerplate has been a godsend. It’s like surface shaders on crack.

Replayed Sayonara Wild Hearts again and omg if it isnt still one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had playing a game... again, and again, and I'll do it again in the future

Can't recommend @orels1.bsky.social's shaders enough, even just standard; it runs great on Android/iOS while also having reflection probe occlusion that makes baked scenes pop more. There are also notes in-UI like this, making features understandable for less-technical people like me w/o research:

Turns out Vancouver gets humid enough that you can get stringing by the end of your long PETG prints even if u dried your filament right before (no desiccant in the box atm). Turned the dryer back on and it went away

Lumines Arise by @enhance-experience.com is incredibly good. Cannot wait for the full release. The music is also an absolute bop, just like Tetris Effect, so I am having a hard time focusing on the game instead of just vibing to the beat

posting this to help any graphic design nerds using blender who happen to follow me: you gotta get this "ST2" addon. It add so many BASIC typesetting features that are just absent from vanilla blender. Case in point: opentype stylistic sets seen here. Saved me a major headache, coldtype.xyz/st2/

Been playing with some wetness effects for a #VRChat world recently. Took the math of @mochie.bsky.social 's water gerstner waves, rendered it to a texture, and then did some simple decay on it via Graphics.Blit. Its a little jank but I've stared at it long enough that I think its working #unity3d

Metal Eden's Demo turned out to be almost exactly what I hoped for. A mix of Deadlink, Doom Eternal, and a bit of Ghostrunner, set in a RUINER-style world. It delivered on what I wanted back when I played RUINER originally: "that, but FPS". Its up on steam, you should check it out 🙏

So we got a 299 limit for April Fools? I guess that's not a terrible way to do it. I feel like every time I try to come with something for april fools it ends up being too over-engineered and then I run out of time, so nothing ever ships. Maybe thats for the best, as some of those ideas were cursed
