This is my nickname . I have been called duck for 50 years. I am known as Uncle D.
After yesterday and living in Essex on the outside of London now in Reform strong hold I no longer know my neighbours. Why am I so different & just want to get along with everyone. I wonder how long before my Borough goes bust? And they'd still vote Reform. Logic is not used here anymore

I like this platform but I’m noticing how aggressive some of the Green Voters are here. If you disagree with them they become very nasty. I’ve noticed how many are fans of momentum (JC) They remind very much how fans of the populist Farage on X react. Sad as I liked them before Polanski turned up

This is such a ridiculous story. it mentions that farmers will have to check 400 items to ensure they are EU safe. Well they do now to export. As for using standardised pesticides to EU standards that's good. Don't export if you don't like it

at last the world is waking up to these right wing Christian nationalist. Trump has the world their belly and no one wants it. Reform you're next. 3 years is a long time to go. Yes they will do well next month but governance comes with great responsibility. They are not responsible only for Brexit

Adil you’re spot on. But I am glad that he said it. It’s shows us just how some very rich people think and feel about the very people they exploit to make them wealthy. He doesn’t give a shit about the UK. We are £92b pa worse off since Brexit. That’s what broke Britain not immigrants. Twat

I've never been a fan of the USA as their culture is so different from European culture. But it seems to me that Reds states like Authoritarian practices but only only on Blue states. The USA could split. We could see another civil war unless Trump passes on soon and seems nature may do that soon

it's 313 weeks since we left the EU. Saving £350m per week for the NHS. Where's the £110b gone? £56 billion on customs formalities? the £ fell by 4% based just the last 6 years against the €. Conservative loss of £92b per annum. Yep project fear

Having recently sat in a meeting with a medium sized UK exporter discussing their EU options & how to keep their customers satisfied I thought after 47 years in logistics I never thought any serious Uk gov would inflict Brexit on what makes GB great 2

As much as the MSM should be picking this up the problem is that the pain is smeared across everyone adding to the pain of Covid, Trump, and other exogenous factors.

I also think that the current discourse is still that this is the evil EU doing something paperwork’y against us and not this is something that we have done to ourselves. So if the EU would just stop being unreasonable then all would be fine.

It's only hidden because MSM doesn't do its job... Everybody suffers from the loss of FoM in that food, especially, costs much more than would otherwise do .. Tempered by the fact, UK not fully applying Brexit its side, means there is a lot of illicit traded food flowing through onto UK high streets

This is David Marsh. He went to my old school. He is one of the small number of European troops who went to Afghanistan and never did much nor went to the front line according to Donald Trump. He died in 2008 aged 23 in Afghanistan when the patrol car he was in was blown up in Helmand Province.

My take away from this week is that Trump is diminished internationally & can be tethered & embarrassed at home. The EU & UK are closer.Starmer looks strong emboldened. Badenoch fell apart, Farage turned his back on the UK & The Greens want to pull out of NATO leaving us vulnerable.

Every week I get another enquiry from a UK exporter to the EU about using an EU 3PL. Originally it was exporters who imported from China & sold in to the EU bypassing the UK. Now it’s UK manufacturers doing the same. How long before they relocate completely to the EU?

When you hear a friend say Trump is right what do you do. They won’t listen. It’s like a bumblebee telling a fly not to eat shit but it still does. their source is right wing media telling them it’s the left. Making up stories to get them angry. As someone said why is that lying bastard lying

This makes no sense… An MP can wake up one morning, ditch the party you elected them for, & sign up to a completely different manifesto… No thanks If they defect to a different party, we should get a vote Sign the petition & help make that law.

Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running. This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.

in a few days I'll be 65. I hear that as you older you get more right wing. I am moving more to the left or the Overton Window just moved on. I am appalled by so many people who think there are simple answers to complex issues. Politicians who blame others for their twisted promises sicken me 1/2

Deals with the EU & others & broadening their client base for lumber by triggering Maple leaf project is awesome. The man is brilliant & Correct about Brexit too More Carneys please

It really is quite simple & shameful the UK establishment has never explained it to UK public. Unless UK agrees a customs union inside a single market of regulations with another country, with a wealthy consumer base of 500m, 20 miles off shore, it'll NEVER compensate what it has lost in easy trade

I remember in the 80s how bat shit crazy the media were about Randy Andy and Fergie. I was nauseous about it then as they represented to me at least the very excesses of wealth an privileged that Thatcher promoted and Royal sycophants lapped it up wrapped in their Union flag 1

How is peace ever going to be achieved in the Middle East. not even 24 hours in, and the IDF shot dead 6 unarmed Palestinians. I honestly think most Army's in the world would have exercised more restraint. I am not on anyone's side but men with guns and mixed with religion doesn't work

If Trump ever got the Noble Peace Prize its value would be so diminished that it could never be resurrected. Imagine if Hitler was given a prize for peace whilst incarcerating Jews pre WWII. Which is happening now to the new Jews.Immigrants. How many more world leaders are going to lick his arse?
