I always knew that brexit would make the UK vulnerable but I never thought it would be so quick and from the USA. SO Russia China & USA are threats. The sooner we get back in the EU the better. We are looking so screwed

I really don’t understand the honours system. Roger Daltry getting a knighthood. I know he’s done work for Childhood Cancer Trust. But there a many who are not famous who do more & aren’t famous! This man voted to take FOM away from me and the youth because when you’re rich you always have FOM

Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running. This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.

in a few days I'll be 65. I hear that as you older you get more right wing. I am moving more to the left or the Overton Window just moved on. I am appalled by so many people who think there are simple answers to complex issues. Politicians who blame others for their twisted promises sicken me 1/2

I ve been following Mark Carneys handling of Trump. This man is turning Trumps bullying tactics to Canada’s advantage. Deals with the EU & others & broadening their client base for lumber by triggering Maple leaf project is awesome. The man is brilliant & Correct about Brexit too More Carneys please

It really is quite simple & shameful the UK establishment has never explained it to UK public. Unless UK agrees a customs union inside a single market of regulations with another country, with a wealthy consumer base of 500m, 20 miles off shore, it'll NEVER compensate what it has lost in easy trade

I remember in the 80s how bat shit crazy the media were about Randy Andy and Fergie. I was nauseous about it then as they represented to me at least the very excesses of wealth an privileged that Thatcher promoted and Royal sycophants lapped it up wrapped in their Union flag 1

How is peace ever going to be achieved in the Middle East. not even 24 hours in, and the IDF shot dead 6 unarmed Palestinians. I honestly think most Army's in the world would have exercised more restraint. I am not on anyone's side but men with guns and mixed with religion doesn't work

Everyone should listen to Michael. He has been proven right consistently. The fact immigration has hit a million as a direct result of Brexit the Gammons are reddening by the minute strangled by their own hubris

If Trump ever got the Noble Peace Prize its value would be so diminished that it could never be resurrected. Imagine if Hitler was given a prize for peace whilst incarcerating Jews pre WWII. Which is happening now to the new Jews.Immigrants. How many more world leaders are going to lick his arse?

The amount of top military that Hegseth has either fired or let go is enormous! The loss of this amount experience must be a concern and one wonders are the political leaders in the USA competent or are they influenced by other things or people. China & Russia are rubbing their hands at this.

The new ICE song by Jesse Welles nails it. ICE isn’t recruiting heroes, it’s recruiting the bitter, the rejected, the ones desperate for a badge to cover their failures. Losers with power become the most dangerous kind. (c/o Caroline Codsi)

I recently visited Clacton, and it's a desperate place. There are lots of flags and no hope. Always voted for a right-wing politician. 2010 onwards, Tory UKIP Reform.14 years of what they wanted. At what point will they join the dots. Immigration didn't do for Clacton far right politics did. So sad

Listening today about the way the administration in the USA are going after any of their critics, on LBC today I have concluded that unwittingly they have fired the starting gun on the demise of Social Media platforms like X. Its the dog biting its tail. 1+

and some clown was banging on about bonds and how we should have an election. 1 year in and same old lazy journalism. National Debt Gdp for Japan 250% USA 112% France 116% Italy 135%. UK 96%. But apparently labour is mis managing the economy.

Having engaged with an academic about the new Your Party I checked out Zarah Sultanas working class credentials against Angela Rayners. She ain’t working class. Privileged education & I can find evidence of work other than politics. Angela Rayner, is a working class hero. And Sultana hates it

I just saw a TV report about the explosion of illegal cigarettes sold on the high street. Not one mention that Brexit,as Michael has long said, amounted to a smugglers charter. Weren’t we supposed to be protecting our own borders.

Just met 2 older folk from Dallas today in Paris. They were truly appalled by Trump and apologised. They rightly said he is a danger to the world and that they apologised for his behaviour. They really believe he is a dictator and can't understand why Americans are tolerating him.

Just to put in perspective Reform hold 0.04% of all council seats in the UK. The Reform wave is not what the BBC or GB news would have you believe They basically have the same as the green party

Every country in the world should remember The USA has crashed the world economy twice in 17 years. Why should we trust them. We should form new alliance's that serves us well. Trump has ruined 4 years of economic prudence in 7 days. Almost biblical

Private equity firms have reportedly flooded the airplane maintenance industry over the last five years. These are the same shady investors who have fueled the housing crisis and strip-mined our healthcare system. What could go possibly go wrong?

Private equity is shutting out millions of people from buying their own homes. In 2021, private equity investors bought nearly 1 in 7 homes in top metro areas. This is essentially a direct transfer of wealth from the working class into the pockets of private equity managers. Forgetting ideology of Brexit surely it's better to rejoin the EU as business has shrunk by 4% whilst USA tariffs will only shrink it by 0.4%. Why chase a trade deal with a country that doesn't honour agreements or respect the rule of law. The EU is a democracy you can rely on

We all have to say no to a trade deal with the USA as that's appeasement. Getting into bed with a leader who would weaken all our hard won freedoms just to enrich American Billionaires whilst we have a willing and able partner in the EU which we wrote the rules. Macron already wants us back
