At XC club today, one of the Y7s asked how long I've been running. Turns out it's pretty much 45 years since I made my racing debut at the Waddesdon Open XC in Nov 1979. Shame the race isn't still going. I was 103rd/216. I improved to 10th in the horrendous liquid manure year 😬 #EduRunners
