I know it seems trite and kinda goofy, but I think I'm transitioning from saying "clean energy" to saying "new energy". Our existing energy mechanisms of coal and gas are old, decrepit, and not holding up to the task we have ahead of us.

I do think it's genuinely cool that batteries are sticking around as a tax incentive for residential. It'd be nice if solar was included, but you can easily justify a lot of the equipment that you'd need for solar as part of the battery system (inverters, electrical equipment for grid connect, etc)
