Embarrassing people who don’t know how to #read does not help them learn how to read. If anything, it discourages them from even trying. I’m not a #teacher, but I’d be interested in guiding an adult literacy course (maybe at a #library where people can learn for free).

At the beginning of June, someone very dear to me was killed (& the way I found out was very jarring). It’s partly why I was so determined to experience joy this Summer. I’ve mostly processed it, I think. But it has completely changed my perspective on many things — especially human connection.
