It's a pto day (yay!) that I ended up having to use to get my car fixed (boo!) but at least I can bring some games to relax with at the dealership instead of trying to get work done. (yay!)

Today was a rough morning day, gotta love the 4am wake up and stomach upset from swallowing CPAP air. Still, it's shaping up to be a pretty light and easy day at work in spite of that, knock on wood!

Woke up early feeling gross, something didn't agree with me last night,.not great for work. Fine. It took 25 minutes with my work laptop and 8 separate logins to confirm I wasn't too busy to take a sick day today. That's just... Man, I'm all tense now. There's got to be a better way.

The aforementioned thing that made me feel better was a visit down to Snoqualmie falls with a friend. I was stuck in this weird isolation mode where going out felt like too much work... A weird feeling of not enough bang for the emotional energy cost. But look at this view! I'm so glad I went.

So frustrating when the thing that your therapist and friends and loved ones tell you do to feel better actually makes you feel better. How dare. >.>

I'm not usually an after hours work gathering/ happy hour kind of guy, but when the CEO invites you to come out to the fire pit and cook a hot dog, you do it. Honestly, it was really tasty! Haven't done that since I was a kid!

Oh. Well then! What I thought was morning anxiety seems to be my CPAP pumping air into my stomach and guys while I sleep. Im sleeping more upright now, and my events per night dropped from 12ish to 1. There's still nervousness, but that awful nausea and burping is gone. Huh! Fingers crossed.

Beat the current Midnight campaign, caught up to the plot after running the raids in story mode. Whelp. That was very pretty, and the overall story direction seems to make sense given the context of the NEXT expansion, but 'somehow (redacted) returned' made me raise an eyebrow. Maybe two.

Heading home a little early, noticed some wildflowers blooming by the path to the parking lot. Yay spring!

Good thing the weekend was nice, I think today is going to be challenging. Was sick several times last night between 2 and 6 and boy do I feel exhausted and ill equipped for work. Sadly, I'm assisting with a sponsor audit today and there's really zero room to call out. Yay lean staffing.

What a stupendous weekend with friends. Busy enough I'm considering early bedtime tonight, but positively excellent all the same. Yay expending social battery without OVERexpending, if that makes sense.

So people who are team leads, managers, etc: how do you manage the needs of your team AND handle your own projects without going insane? I am having real difficulty with trying to get into a flow state, getting interrupted with a question, repeat. Office hours or denying them time isn't an option.
