Just realized I never posted here this Haikyū!! animation I did a while back. Tried to make the volleyball the main character here, with the players acting more like supporting roles.

Bought the TrimUI Brick. It’s super cheap, emulates consoles up to Dreamcast, fits in my pocket, and feels solid. Guess I’ve run out of excuses to not finally play Mother 3 like it’s 2006.

Picked up a Contax TVS in Tokyo. I know it won’t last forever — 90s electronics aren’t exactly built for the long run — but I couldn’t resist this titanium beauty, especially at the price I found it for. I guess hunting through every second-hand camera shop does pay off (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

I've decided to go back to shooting film, so this is the only camera I'm taking to San Francisco.

This anim I made is another one of those "useless" ones. During that chase in Ori there was nothing in the background, so lightning-fast I made a cheap pass (the one above), we put it in the game and we saw that although it did't add anything at a gameplay level, it does add atmosphere.

It's cool to be inspired by what we see in the movies, but we also have super interesting characters around us. So inspired by the atmosphere on the Mediterranean coast @laurasirvent.com and I created: The TETE Tribal tattoos, tanned body and protein shakes.

For this character, we wanted to portray a highly confident woman, maintaining control of the situation. Making here dominant over her interviewer.

One of my contributions to Ori was the animations for this miniboss. I love how everything went great between design / tech / animation. Simple patterns but fun to play.

And for the big piece of the Hellowork campaign, this is the first character that appears in it. I wanted him to look nervous, with high energy and low confidence. I loved how the animation team portrayed it!

I'm very happy with how the Dancing Boss project turned out, especially because it combines 3D and programming, my two passions! I would love to focus my career on being able to mix these two worlds in a creative way, I've written a little about this on my website: laurasirvent.com/works/dancin...

My animation style tends to be exaggerated/fast/over the top/... so I struggle trying to create subtle moments... but I'm pretty happy with how Ku (Ori and the Will of the Wisps) feels in this little shot. [Sound ON]
