Over the weekend, the Department of Education threatened to pull federal funding from public schools that don’t dump DEI by the end of the month Though the letter lacks the force of law, advocates are warning about this latest attempt to squash diversity efforts

To see this and know that they are actively working to curtail scientific inquiry and innovation is deplorable. The outcomes of such practices will not only hurt millions of people right now, it will also jeopardize our (everyone’s) collective future and possibilities. This needs to end now!

Navigating the snow to get to Northwestern to give this lecture has me feeling like a real Chicagoan…. My North Carolina instincts are telling me that I should be in the bed, with bread, eggs, and milk in my kitchen right now….

Currently resisting the need to do work lol… I want to keep resting.
