I just played the first chapter of the first Fire Emblem for the first time with @quinnkdev.bsky.social and @kitetfrog.bsky.social And ya'll it's got some gems. The gameplay also holds up shockingly well for a strategy rpg from 1990.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Some expanded thoughts, now that the vid is officially dead in the water. My niche is small, but the robot also actively despises content like mine. I'm also not willing to lie or mislead in my thumbnails and titles. It is what it is, and my relationship with my work needs to change.
