Bombus Consobrinus, Norway 2022. This bee has the longest tongue of all scandinavian bees. It is specialised on Monkshood flowers with deep corolla's. Lovely, very fast, quite large bees 😘

Crab apple in blossom. Its scientific name, Malus sylvestris, means 'forest apple'. When I arrived 16 years ago, there were only four wild apple trees in the whole rainforest. This is one of at least a dozen that have sprung up since grazing pressure was radically reduced. #Rewilding 🌏
