I grew up in the south so my first bagel was bread shaped in a circle. It had more substance than regular store bought bread, but just barely. I only learned what a bagel was after a trip to NYC. A real bagel is a work of art. I agree w/ the @thebaltimorebanner.com Goldberg's bagels is the best!
