Some good news. In my experience slumlords & other bad actors in the rental housing arena, like management companies, can rarely be shamed into better behavior. So by the time courts get involved, their petty nastiness is usually on full display in damning paper trails, & judges respond accordingly

There are a lot of terms used to describe what happened on January 6th 2021. Peaceful protest, riot, insurrection, etc. I prefer "failed coup". Insurrection isn't wrong but is antiquated & sniffs of American exceptionalism. The term coup is used internationally & forces us confront our ordinariness.

The power of discourse, of shaping the dominant narrative, is such that a failed coup, poorly orchestrated by an old man in drag and badly implemented by middle-aged malcontents, still managed to succeed. January 6, 2021 is a stain now dried into the cloth of the American fabric.

This should exist in every city in the country.

This sounds like its written by a Huron consultant. The claim that faculty got too powerful or are too romantic about their role in society is a level of gaslighting only a consultant hack could dream up.
