Simply using the alt text space to circumvent the character count is the equivalent of parking a car in the disabled parking bay. Some screen readers assume anything in all caps is an acronym so read out the letters individually - good practice to switch to lowercase in alt text and elsewhere. 2/3

Some great advice for those new to adding alt text to images. Please consider helping visually impaired, cognitively impaired and neurodivergent folks. Its about lowering barriers to access and offering parity of experience to all. It also helps folks from other cultures understand context!
