I can't think of anyone currently running for office more dangerous than Andrew Cuomo. Not just for NYC but for the nation, because unfortunately NYC disproportionately affects the rest of the states. Bad politicians elsewhere don't have the same structural power. NYC: Do not vote for this man.

It's absolutely false that the FDA policy recommendations for who should receive the COVID vaccine in 2025-2026 will automatically translate to what the ACIP votes should be the clinical recommendations even though the news is reporting it as if the new restrictions on seasonal vaxes is a done deal

Thankful NYS still has a regulation that all HCWs who are not vaxxed for flu need to mask in areas where there's patients, but why is there not the same regulation for COVID which can be equally and even more dangerous than the flu? Make it make sense.

Of course it did. Measles is airborne, can live in the air for up to 2 hours, and has an average estimated basic reproduction number (R0) of 12-18. So 12-18 (esp. unvaccinated) people can get infected from one primary case.
