Actually only partially true. Covid exists as both an airborne and fomite pathogen. You can get infected by things like kissing, sharing food or drink with someone, sharing clothing with an infected person, breathing the same air, and etc. Mitigation for droplets - aerosolized and non is needed.

Particularly Covid infections of the mother within the second and third trimesters. Often SARS-CoV-2 placentitis can occur among many other complications. Wear N95 around all of your pregnant friends, family, and coworkers at all times.
