It was a warm morning parking cars (a fundraiser for our scout troop) but I am now back on the couch in the air conditioning. Go blue, boo October heat waves.

I read "The Long Walk" as a middle schooler in the 90s. I have fit this story into whatever remotely appropriate context when talking with my best friend ever since. Tonight I got to watch the movie with him, and unlike most other Stephen King movies, this one was done really well. I'm very happy.
