When you say only the “genuinely disabled” should receive support, you’re aiding fascism. When you say people are scamming the system, you’re aiding fascism. Many disabilities are invisible and it’s hard to get support. People aren’t scamming. That’s “useless eater” rhetoric designed to divide.

Disabled people should be allowed to get married without losing our healthcare. We shouldn’t have to choose between weddings and staying alive. In 2025 we still have no marriage rights or property rights. We never have, and it’s total shit. Fuck Eugenics, we deserve so much better.

People don't realise how malicious the 'reforms' proposed by Heather Humphreys to disability supports were. Very few people appreciate the work put in by disabled activists to resist those reforms or the lasting damage caused. No apology or even acknowledgement, HH is not a President for all #Áras25

As another of the leaders of Scrap the Green Paper can confirm the fear and harm these proposals caused. HH ignored our requests to meet or to accept a petition signed by thousands of Disabled people. And since this there has been a marked increase in reviews of DA recepients, to punish us

It's interesting that David Cullinane represents a party which supports the right of people 'not assigned Irish at birth', so to speak, to self-identify as Irish without an arduous citizenship process,* to vie for Taoiseach or President of Ireland as an equal basis to other citizens. *as do I. 1/2
