More than 2,000 constituents turned up for a town hall held in Asheville, NC by Republican Representative Chuck Edwards. 360 of those who came to be heard & to hold the Congressman accountable were allowed in. THIS is what democracy looks like. My wife Cheryl and I took part in a 100-person protest outside Ted Budd’s (R-NC) in Asheville. We were unable to get into the senator’s office. It was notable, however, that some federal employees came out of their offices to thank us for fighting for them.
