Physio thinks i have a meniscus injury 😭pain in my knee, it feels weak, it hurts if I bend it, straighten it or it twists. Physio also thinks it’s because my left knee has been overcompensating for my bad right ankle since my accident almost 3 years ago! So fed up with being in pain

My soon to be sister in law’s cousin went missing last night in Manchester. Last seen at half time… he left his phone and wallet as his seat when went to the loo and hasn’t been seen since. Robbie Hepburn age 40. Please share far and wide.

Ginny is having one of the screws in her knee removed on Monday. Her 4th procedure on the knee since the end of 2022. Poor girl.

Ginny is having an xray on her knee this morning. I don’t do well when she is in the vets for a procedure. I probably wont be calm until I know she is okay and awake. Hopefully it’s only something small and she won’t need another knee surgery. She’s been through a lot in the past few years.

It’s been a week since Ginny was attacked and she’s been signed of by the vet. Her wounds are healing well and she’s had an off lead run around. We are still dealing with the daycare side of things.

If you’re having a real tree this year when are you getting it? We haven’t had a real tree before and really want it to last. The wreath is on the door and we are doing some other decorating today/ tomorrow ☺️

Ginny’s going in shortly for her general anaesthetic to have her wounds cleaned and sorted. Today is going to be a long day. I don’t do well when she goes in for things that require a general. But she will be fine.

What’s your favourite soup combination? Im a big fan of a roasted butternut squash and lentil soup and leek and potato. I find pea and ham really weird and mushroom is horrible.

My poor girl got attacked at her doggy daycare today, she’s having a general anaesthetic on Friday so they can clean the wounds and check everything. She has 2 puncture wounds and one cut. She’s on pain meds and antibiotics and in her little pjs feeling very sleepy and sorry for herself 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺😞😞😞

Vegetable chilli for lunch today with courgette, pepper, onion, lentils and kidney beans along with spring onion, mozzarella and roasted butternut squash and sweet potato

Wooohoo our planning permission has been granted! We are building a deck!

Managed to get peppers, onion, spinach, mushrooms, carrot, courgette and tinned tomatoes into our pasta sauce. Along side turkey mince, dried oregano, lea and perrins and garlic granules. Should be yummy and enough for dinner tonight and tomorrow night.

Ginny’s been to hydrotherapy and i’ve been to physio. Now thinking of what soup i’ll have for lunches next week! Thinking spiced roasted sweet potato and either lentils or kidney beans.

Yay the husband and doggo are coming to meet me at the station so we can walk home together ☺️i was going to get the bus, but this way i will get my steps in

My dad is having a heart procedure done at the moment, I won’t be able to sleep until I know he is okay. Times like this i hate being so far away. He will be 80 next month.

My ankle is not enjoying the cold weather 😭😭🤣 have got the hot water bottle on it. Hopefully that helps

Yay it’s snowing in Bristol!

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

Had a brilliant morning in HMP Bristol, running a cooking session for staff and prisoners. We made loads of dishes! Including jerk chicken from scratch, jerk roasted sweet potato, a delicious slaw. Chinese dumplings and smacked cucumber salad, with some pro dumpling folders in the group!

We have started watching Junior Taskmaster. It’s exactly the chaos we need. These kids are hilarious

Had a really fantastic prison visit this morning. Kicking of an exciting project. We cooked two dishes with a group of men in the main kitchen. They loved them! It’s been a good day 🤩
