#RandomGameSaturday Donkey Kong Bananza (Switch 2) This is a 10/10 masterpiece. Nintendo created a fully destructible love letter to 3D platformers and DK… yet it has not sold a ton of copies, one year later. Bananza is required playing for everyone! It’s a technical marvel, and a lovely journey.

#RandomGameSaturday Elebits (Wii) A Wii launch-window title, Elebits has you exploring a house to find all of the titular creatures. Use the Wii Remote’s pointer to fling furniture and other objects around. Maybe you’ll go outside, too… I had a blast when this released. It’s a bit basic, but fun.

This lines up with a lot of my thoughts on it. I also think the speed with which Roblox developers jack concepts from each other to further optimize their games for monetization is fascinating and shouldn't be in something that gets pushed to kids. It's like the worst version of best practices.

#RandomGameSaturday Speed Punks (PS1) / Speed Freaks A highly underrated PS1 kart racer. The characters look unusual, but the gameplay is very good. The music slaps, the boost mechanic is unique, and there’s a few secrets to find. The game released very close to CTR, so it was mostly ignored.

#RandomGameSaturday Kirby Planet Robobot (3DS) Arguably the best 2D Kirby title, Planet Robobot has everyone’s favorite super tough pink puff controlling a mech in select levels. It’s cool! There are some incredible boss fights. This is where the series got serious about cinematic/dynamic battles.
