Highguard cold take: I might give it a spin when it launches tonight, but I'm not expecting much. Streaming it would probably be pointless since I'm expecting a big sponsorship campaign resulting in everyone and their mothers streaming it in the hopes of the clout trickling down.

Y'know, it was good to do a test stream yesterday and realise that I needed to re-log into Twitch on my OBS instead of panicking why my stream wasn''t working there.

So I bought Super Wooden Rally Edge yesterday because I loved the demo when I played it last year and all the reviews are glowing. I then read the Edge review for Big Hops and nabbed that too.

I wanted to print out something, but my printer isn't connecting to my Wi-Fi, so I go out and buy one of thouse dumb square printer plugs to USB cables, only for the printer to show up as a scanner.

Huh, PEGI put up a rating for a new Life is Strange game. That's the second game they've leaked in a month (they leaked the Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake last month). They're historically very good about not jumping the gun so it's weird seeing them leap twice in 30 days.

Well, at least that test stream went well. No stream tonight since I'm busy, and so we'll try doing the Dubai level in Hitman World of Assassination on Thursday.

I spent last night fighting gremlins in preparation for tonight's stream, but that didn't prevent new and novel technical issues from popping up. I'm moving the Hitman 3 Dubai stream to Thursday and if I can get the gremlins resolved I'll try a short Twitch-only stream tonight.

Plan for October: I'd like to rattle through the main story of Hitman 3 before Steam Next Fest starts on the 13th,, so that's going to be the focus of my streams for this week & next. I've also signed up for VTuberpelago that RoxieRascal is organising, starting on the 24th.

Quick bit of news: I've been invited into Twitch's Dual Format Streaming alpha (the ability to send a vertical stream for the Twitch mobile app alongside the horizontal stream). So, I'm going to get that set up, so give me a few days to get that up and running and looking nice.
