So, uh, yeah, I got stuck at work, and I've still got some stuff I want to get done tonight, so no stream tonight.

Well, at least that test stream went well. No stream tonight since I'm busy, and so we'll try doing the Dubai level in Hitman World of Assassination on Thursday.

I spent last night fighting gremlins in preparation for tonight's stream, but that didn't prevent new and novel technical issues from popping up. I'm moving the Hitman 3 Dubai stream to Thursday and if I can get the gremlins resolved I'll try a short Twitch-only stream tonight.

Plan for October: I'd like to rattle through the main story of Hitman 3 before Steam Next Fest starts on the 13th,, so that's going to be the focus of my streams for this week & next. I've also signed up for VTuberpelago that RoxieRascal is organising, starting on the 24th.

Quick bit of news: I've been invited into Twitch's Dual Format Streaming alpha (the ability to send a vertical stream for the Twitch mobile app alongside the horizontal stream). So, I'm going to get that set up, so give me a few days to get that up and running and looking nice.

Update: I still feel like garbage! I've provisionally moved the second Hitman stream to Friday, since I still want to do the Elusive Targets before they rotate on Sunday, but I'm not fit for streaming tonight, folks.

Welp, today wound up being busier than expected, and I've only now finished making thumbnails for my waiting rooms for this week's streams, which means that all my streams will be a day later than advertised. I'll post an updated schedule in the morning.

For whatever reason my microphone never got sent out. It got as far as OBS, and OBS generated captions (which can be seen in the Twitch VoD) but the sound of my voice never reached Twitch or YouTube. Extremely weird bug, I've gotta troubleshoot that before next stream. #scuff

Plan for the weekend is to investigate Vaultwarden, a self-hosted password manager, and see if I can get it up and running & my passwords moved over there.

It's been a while since I've played a game where I go "yeah, I immediately see why this game has a following", and even after only a couple of runs I can see why some people are obsessed with The Bazaar.

So, yeah, I'm *very* rusty at Deadlock. Probably going to have to spend some time getting caught up with the character changes before the next time I stream it, and maybe not starting an hour late would help, lol.

So, yeah, I'm sold on Battlefield 6 after that Open Beta. Ultimately, the game was fun even if I'm getting my butt kicked, which is important. No point is pre-ordering, tho.

In case anyone wonders why I simulcast most of my streams to YouTube; I really don't trust Twitch, and this sort of potential BS is exactly why. No ads means no revenue, but your audience is potentially even more annoyed by Twitch going "no stream for you" regardless of the lack of ads.

No streams today, gotta sit down and plan a schedule, make thumbnails, make clips from previous streams etc etc etc. The one thing I've got a firm plan on is Peak tomorrow at 6:30pm UTC+1. See y'all then.

Battlefield 6 is fun when you're getting your ass kicked, which is important because not everyone is godlike at first person shooters. If cannon fodder like myself is having fun, then Dice et al is doing something right.

Hot Battlefield 6 take after playing a couple hours of the Open Beta: yeah, it's Battlefield. I do feel far better about it than the 2042 Open Beta, which was a bit of a disaster even to my noob eyes, but I'm not at the point to commit my money to it. Will play more tonight.

The last 45 mins: whoops that Battlefield 6 Open Beta never fully downloaded, what do you mean Secure Boot's not enabled, of course an EA account is required, and now I'm sitting in a virtual queue with more than 100,000 people in front of me. Cool!
