I am a happy teacher. A happy autistic teacher. My autism makes me exceptionally good at teaching certain age groups. I manage to do the work I adore w/o being overwhelmed. I wish that for all autistic teachers. That’s why we need this kind of research published in the journals.

Key issue here is that this mum was placed in a position where she had to fight due to scarcity of services and a constant need for parents to jump through hoops which unfortunately doesn’t get any easier when these kids turn 18.
