Peter Haase's research team analysed data from 1,327 time series spanning the period from 1968 to 2021, covering 23 European countries. Stimulated by the Romanian Ministry of Science, the work on a Memorandum of Cooperation was resumed by DANUBIUS-RI and eLTER at the #BRIDGEconference in Bucharest. eLTER works on ecosystem functioning at the 1-1000 km2 scale, DANUBIUS deals with big river systems and their impacts on coasts.
