Which era gets your vote for a better start in life? Gen Z breaks the pattern by choosing the 2020s - just barely. Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers tilt to 1975. See the global story behind the choices in “Is Life Getting Better?” 👉https://tinyurl.com/53zt7jzd

A world divided: “1975 felt better” vs “2025 is an improvement.” Drawn from the Ipsos 'Is Life Getting Better?' Global Advisor 30-country study, the split runs through how we feel, how we live and what we value.

NEW: A sense of nostalgia pervades our latest 30-country report. By nearly 2 to 1, people would prefer to have been born in 1975 rather than 2025 if they had the choice. Only France, Belgium and Mexico are ahead of us in the “life was better in the old days” stakes
