And the plate holders need converting to 4x5 sheet film, of course. They're of 4.75x6.5in plates which aren't made at ALL these days, so either i make and coat my own glass, or i convert it. I do so wonder which i'll end up doing /j

The bellows patch-up just needs leather conditioner and fabric paint, that's not bad at all. The lightproofing is felt, which i already have. The lensboard is just a bit of woodwork. The groundglass should just be a bath in glass cleaner. Piece of piss, really.

These were made from 1902-(possibly)1922, meaning mine's from roughly slap bang in the middle. It needs its bellows patching up, its lensboard modifying, its tailboard lightproofing, and its groundglass cleaning. Which on the whole, is absolutely fuck ALL work. I'm so fuckin' excited to get working

On a less bitchy note, welcome back to the land of the living, my 5 quid Asahi Pentax ME Super. Thought it had fell victim to the gunked up shutters the MEs are infamous for, but it turns out all it needed was the blades dislodging with my finger. Works a charm now, very happy with it.
