We're relieved at the outcome of today's birthright citizenship decision, but the fact that there were 4 votes to ignore the plain language of the Constitution is appalling. The White Christian Nationalist movement will keep coming for our rights and we have to act to stop them.

We're still waiting to hear back from the Pentagon about how they decided how to consolidate these categories. Their "explanation" — that less information somehow helps chaplains better do their job — still doesn't hold water.

While it might be more convenient for White Christian Nationalists like Pete Hegseth to pretend that atheists don't exist, simply repeating the lie doesn't make it true.
