Yesterday, Trump made it clear that his motivation for “behaving” is a fear of punishment. He also made some wild claims about vaccines, the military, and windmills - when he DID talk about religion, he talked about fear, exclusion, and Christian nationalism. We are unsurprised.

Trayvon Martin should be celebrating another birthday today. Instead, we carry the absence of a life cut short. He deserved safety, dignity, and the chance to grow up. Remembering him means confronting the conditions that made his death possible. Trayvon should still be here.
