The panel at #Crossref2025 discusses some of the challenges of the Research Nexus in the real world - the technical challenges of the scale, keeping metadata open (particularly abstracts), use of metadata by AI, importance of metadata in languages other than English.

Impressive to see what @asm.org has achieved. This should be an example for other publishers. If ASM can do this, why are some of the biggest and best-resourced publishers unable to do the same?
