Been working on making it possible to connect Claude Desktop to a Cloudflare Worker using the new MCP spec, and it works! You write some functions in a Worker, document them with JSDoc, and then they show up in Claude for you to use. It's kinda magical. github.com/geelen/worke...

there are so many quality of life things we can do within the observability landscape for example, from the moment I open the aws console, why do I need 5+ clicks to find the logs of a specific lambda function?

developer tools are as much about the technology as they are about developer experience you can have the greatest product, but if there's too much friction to use it, nobody will care a lot of engineers get into building dev tools thinking user experience doesn't matter

the problem with serverless observability is that serverless can be opaque, but it's relatively easy to solve: instrumentation. wether it's distributed tracing or structured logs, you need a way to see inside your executions you can't debug what you can't know
