The problem I have is this is what we call "The Disability tax." Because we often don't know whether a game will be accessible or not, and almost no info about the accessibility of the game is ever published before launch, disabled players have to buy the game just to see if they can play it.

As somebody who went mostly digital in games for price and convenience reasons, PlayStation's news today marks a very critical moment in gaming's history, where one of the juggernauts comes out full chest to declare the end of disc-based games while simultaneously the end of a digital storefront.

Running a 9th Gen Intel CPU means that my CPU is *absolutely* my bottleneck (compared to the RTX 3080, 32GB RAM). The issue is 10th Gen+ is a new chipset. Means new motherboard. Means new RAM. That means I'm totally priced out of upgrading my bottleneck.

For the first time in many years, I bought two games on release in a month. I stopped for many reasons, including that pre-orders bonuses are predatory FOMO, but mostly because games kept releasing broken. Happy to say that isn't the case with these. 007 and LEGO Batman I'd both solidly recommend.

Once 007 First Light takes the training wheels off it really does something special that I'm completely down for. There was a bit of time in the 'training' missions where I was unsure, but I'm glad I stuck with it! Even when it's acting very video game-y and allowing me to form a body pile.

I can't wait to tell my grandkids this was Ant & Dec.

Completion 28 of 100 - Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight A lot of love for thud game, filled with the perfect amount of LEGO games' humour but with a much more satisfying gameplay loop than prior Lego Batman titles. A fun romp through the films with further references and callbacks.

I'm an hour and a half into LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and I'm so far yet to be Batman 😂 Letting it cook.

i have so, so many furious things to say about this but just to scream about one: when corporations declare themselves able to decide what art is or not made specifically for getting off, they are absolutely going to use that power to target even the tamest of queer art first.
