AHIP (the trade org for health insurance companies) sent out a press release saying they’re basically going to ignore whatever gets decided at ACIP and will go off of the pre-September 1 schedule for coverage. It’s unclear what they’ll do next year but it should be fine for the near future.

Frankly, this is the only thing that will lead to change at this point. And further, scientists, both in healthcare, academia, and industry, need to do the same. Let's see how well the country functions when the college classrooms, labs, and hospitals are empty.
