Passing Hannibal, Missouri, on a long road trip to Alabama with my brother for our Aunt Mary’s funeral. She was last of the siblings in our dad’s generation. I’m waving to Mark Twain from my profile picture as we pass by.

“Remember, God wants you to contribute to the stadium fund.” - a thing my brother heard some freak actually say once. We just drove by the school where that happened. sparking his memory.

My awesome niece & nephew are 16 years old today so I bought them both a car. I am definitely their funniest uncle (I have real gifts for them too, of course).

Latest on the Cleveland meteor says it was a 6-foot wide, 7-ton asteroid moving 40k mph that released the equivalent energy of 250 tons of TNT when it fragmented. Fragments may have fallen about 10-15 miles from me. ☄️

Suspected meteor falling over Cleveland could be seen several states away
A suspected meteor that fell from the sky over the Cleveland area shook homes and startled residents who heard a boom that some compared to an explosion.

This is an extraordinary St Patrick’s Day message from NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani He’s clearly been briefed by someone familiar with the Irish history of anti-colonialism and the Irish people’s overwhelming sympathy for Palestinians today

explore Ireland's prehistoric heritage in Antiquity ☘️ This is Brusselstown Ring, Co. Wicklow. Potentially hundreds of occupied roundhouses found here last year indicate it was the largest nucleated settlement in the country! 🆓
