Interesting news story on @mongabay.bsky.social. I could add that we have also quantified the amount of organic carbon that accumulates and is stored in Norwegian seabed sediments. We found that glacial troughs ('superfjords') are centres of organic carbon accumulation. doi.org/10.1038/s432...
