If nothing else do all the hippies and spirtual people making crafts using things they bought from temu or amazon not think these objects, made of plastic by slaves are extremely cursed. How can they not be? I don't believe in the energy of objects but if I did....

Prices start at £15, which is a bargain for something from a working class artist, recently exhibited in China. We really don’t want to go back on the dole, we’re desperate to make a success of this, but we don’t have the same resources and opportunities that a lot of other artists/businesses have.

So more of the same, boring, achieve absolutely nothing shit we're all heartily sick of? Still, it's too late now. Labour had a majority in parliament and squandered it in two years.

And finally, to all those very very rich* people who claim they want to pay more tax of only Reeves would take it from them, I say embrace philanthropy and just give it away. There are many ways to do good in the world; paying more in tax is just one of them. *Typo in the original, had to fix it.

I'm afraid that unless this and future governments are prepared to fund state television, the BBC will cease to exist as it is now. It's fair to say that only older people like me (62) really appreciate it. The youth don't watch or listen and don't care, and we can't make them.

My problem with this is that nothing will come of it. People will be made to feel as if they have a voice, but without money to replace libraries, community centres etc. nothing will change. National Conversation project launches

What about a warehouse, local to you, that can collect used items, refurbish them, and display then for re-sale? This idea of putting big items on the likes of gumtree is crazy.

Linocut prints, handmade in Banff, inspired by nature, wildlife, folklore and the Scottish countryside. We do all of this from the living room of a council house. No studio and no safety net, just a lot of skill and determination.

This is what made me realise that the Labour party is not what we think it is any more. Money has bought all the key players and unless we get FPTP before the next election we're lost.

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

Well that's just madness. Years ago it was clear that coming kids was not the done thing; social media just made the reasons even clearer. I can't believe any teacher in the UK films their students and uploads the video to tiktok. It's a sackable offence. Isn't it?

I've got a wood burner. It's an old cottage, there's no central heating radiator in that room, and it was there when I moved in years ago. But there is NO justification for putting one in a new home.

The late and much missed Ross Anderson famously wrote "The idea that complex social problems are amenable to cheap technical solutions is the siren song of the software salesman and has lured many a gullible government department on to the rocks." Today I can also hear him grumbling "oh FFS."

, as you seem to be very keen to talk about and investigate Polanski’s council tax issue, why not the same feverish scrutiny over the far more troubling and glaringly corrupt £5M bribe Farage took from that crypto billionaire, Harborne? We can hear your strings being pulled.

I don't want Starmer to go, not because I support him but because I really don't want to go down the road of a new PM every five minutes. But boy, do I agree with Jess Philips. This government is too cosied up with the tech bros because they've bought the hype.

This is the thing. Anyone that does something - anything - to earn their pay is 'working', hard or otherwise. So let's talk about raising pay for working people so that no-one in a full-time job has to claim UC, and taking a bit more tax from the people at the top.

I wanted Labour to do something bold. To take on the Tories and the media and say 'there you go - here's those extra taxes you frightened everyone with but we're going to take more from the wealthy and spend it on the things that benefit everyone. You're welcome'. Instead we got more Tory.
