Someone has, we've just loaded them and ... well, wow! Screenshots below of the instructions (from Facebook). We did Atari's upgrade, then this guy's upgrade, then shoved the rom usb in the back as per instructions.

The main issue we had was finding a memory stick the console would accept for the upgrades. But the process itself is pretty simple. The result is amazing.

Having fun with an #AtariXEGS this evening. We picked it up at last weekend's @computinghistory.org.uk Bring n Byte Sale. Came with a ton of software, plus a light pen. We paired it up with our other weekend purchase, an #Atari Touch Tablet. Have just discovered you can play Kaboom using the tab! 💣

And finally we tried an old light gun that @tonyfishlock.bsky.social picked up a year or so ago for a quid. Bug Hunt is actually pretty fun! Now to go through the rest of the software ...
