Old tactics game prototype. Here I tried to capture real medieval battle tactics within turn-based gameplay. This taught me a ton about what works and doesn't work in turn-based games.

I just want all artists to succeed and make cool shit. I want a world where all artists could just make so much art that every story can find its audience and every audience can find its story. I just want to live in a world where we can all bask in the joy of getting to make and participate in art.

Added a little panel to show Claire's new affinities after transforming. It used to be in the info panel but in making all the fonts and icons larger it just took up way too much space.

Slowly getting there on the ui polish pass, mostly just need to animate some more paint-splat effects and add some extra juice in certain places.

Added weapons and armor with the ability to swap them with a suitable item in your inventory. Stat and Affinity changes are displayed in the status menu with nice little coloured highlights like in SMT 4. (and yes once again the ux is still wip π« )

Made some updates to Piper's Cleric abilities tonight. You can now pick a known (or partially known) psalm from a list to get a guide of which notes to play. Still some UX to iron out (ignore that I'm mixing PS5 and PC button prompts π« ) but it's getting there!

There's a saying I vividly remember from the Printemps Γrable times that roughly translates to: "Those who have given up are please asked to not bother those who keep trying." π Defeatism in hard times can be the equivalent of rooting for the bad guys. Hope holds power. Optimism IS power!

The Feral discipline lets you fight like a monster & use the abilities of monsters you've tamed. This even includes movement style (like flight or burrowing) and elemental affinity. The tamer here is mimicking the sandworm-like Doray.
