I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

I always thought MLK’s ‘Mountaintop’ speech was his best, which was given the day before he was killed. It is especially relevant given what is happening now in MN and elsewhere. He was getting many serious threats, which he references in his line “I may not get there with you.”

If I serve no other purpose on this planet, at least I created pre-sets for NPR radio stations in loaner cars I borrow while my car is at the dealer for maintenance.

Why is it that the worst person in the U.S. is the president of the U.S.?

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy. She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today. This could be you.

Thank God there is video and we don’t have only Kristi Noem’s lies about this - which she likely got from the agents’ supervisor. If there were no videos, as is the case with many criminal incidents, just imagine how big the lies get.

Nothing to add — this says it all.

The US is now responsible for the governance of Venezuela. Toppling the regime of a smaller country is always the easy part. The hard part is what comes after. Neo-cons always expect a pro-US nirvana. It rarely works out. But I suppose the oil companies can seize some assets.

Here’s the thing. Almost all of the shit that has taken place to date could at least theoretically be undone. Wouldn’t be easy, but there was a way back. Invading another country and abducting their leader? Can’t be undone. The damage is permanent and irreversible.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?
