Cody Martin's contract with the Pacers has expired. He's a free agent. The Pacers don't currently have a hardship exception available unless Bennedict Mathurin is still expected to miss 2+ weeks. They might be eligible for another on 11.20 once Aaron Nesmith misses a third game.

First time in Pacers franchise history they've lost four-straight games by 17+ points. They had lost three in a row by 17+ once before (1984 and entering today) but lost the fourth game by 5 in 1984-85. That team went 22-60.

My broadcast just exploded by the play-by-play says the Suns lead has crossed 30 early in the fourth quarter. This road trip for the Pacers has been just atrocious.

Devin Booker and Isaiah Jackson jawing now. Booker, with fire, to the cup and then gets in Jackson's face. Chest bumps follow. Srappy game, which would be fun if the game was close at all.

Now a 21-4 Suns run. They're up 27.

Bench has been awful tonight for the Pacers. Their deficit got to 10, then subs, Suns surge again and lead by 18.

Pacers playing well in this third quarter so far and are now down by just 10. Better defense. Jenny Boucek mentioned during her halftime interview on the broadcast that she was actually somewhat pleased with the Pacers gameplan execution in the first half. Seeing why.

Aaron Nesmith won't return with left knee soreness, Jeremiah Johnson says on the broadcast.

Nesmith, albeit with much assistance, goes off the floor on both of his feet and bending both of his knees.

Suddenly, Pacers drawing many fouls. It's helped them chip into the deficit. Siakam and Nembhard beating their defender to make it happen. Suns lead down to 10.

Royce O'Neale and Pascal Siakam double techs. Siakam was upset after O'Neale fouled him and touched his face, O'Neale shoved him back.

Suns up 12, timeout Pacers. Phoenix scoring easily now and at the cup, even with Booker off the floor. And Pacers offense, shocker, struggling.

Suns 31, Pacers 23 after one quarter. Pacers started strong, then really faded from their style and effectiveness. Suns defense was good, their zone was solid even as Pacers dissected it. Tony Bradley (8 points) and Dillon Brooks (12) are the leading scorers.

Suns defense is good but Pacers second unit is really playing into it here. Not much ball movement. Phoenix up 7.

Textbook 1-on-2 defense there from Jarace Walker to get a stop in a challenging situation.

Dillon Brooks was getting into it with Pascal Siakam earlier. Now, same with T.J. McConnell. Brooks and McConnell get a tech.
