#Cavs beat the Wolves 146-134 thanks to a fantastic offensive performance in the second half. They had five guys with more than 20 points, led by Donovan Mitchell with 28 points. One of Cleveland's better wins of the year, without a doubt.

#Cavs lead the Wolves 99-91 after three quarters. Very impressive quarter for the Cavs on both ends of the floor, certainly helped by the Wolves not shooting the lights out from deep like earlier. Donovan Mitchell has 26 points, Evan Mobley and Sam Merrill both have 17.

#Cavs trail the Wolves 65-63 at the half. Think the Cavs have played much better defensively than the score would indicate. Minnesota has been red hot from deep, including a few end of shot clock makes that are the difference right now.

#Cavs trail the Wolves 33-29 after the first quarter. Thought Cleveland's defense was pretty solid, Minnesota's shot making was just better. Jaylon Tyson leads the Cavs with eight and Donovan Mitchell has seven.

#Cavs lose to the Wolves 131-122. Their starting lineup was outscored by 19 points in just over nine minutes and they ultimately couldn't recover from it. A brutal third quarter on the defensive doomed them. They fall to 21-18 on the season. A bad loss that probably could've been avoided.

Awesome start to the second quarter for the #Cavs, opening it up on a 14-5 run. They started the second strong against the Pacers on Tuesday night, too. Let's see if it can be sustained tonight.

#Cavs escape Indiana with a 120-116 win. They played a mostly good fourth quarter after a below average first 36 minutes. Darius Garland was fantastic down the stretch, scoring 14 of his 29 points in the fourth. Didn't miss a shot down the stretch. Killer stuff from him.

Huge jumper from Darius Garland. He's up to 29 on the night and has made all seven shots he's taken so far here in the fourth quarter. #Cavs lead the Pacers 117-114 with 11.5 left in regulation.

#Cavs are actually having a pretty strong second quarter so far. They've taken a 45-43 lead with 5:05 left until halftime. Sam Merrill just hit his third 3-pointer of the night.

#Cavs lose to the Pistons 114-110. They had an atrocious second quarter and the bench units got crushed by Detroit that ultimately cost them the game. Cavs fall to 20-17 on the season.

#Cavs trail the Pistons 87-82 after three quarters. Starting group for the Cavs played well in the third quarter but the bench gave the lead right back. Much better defensively in that quarter than the second, though.

#Cavs lead the Pistons 28-19 after the first quarter. Very impressed with the early defense from the Cavs. Held the Pistons to 26.9% shooting from the floor and forced seven turnovers. Cavs currently have six steals and four blocked shots.

#Cavs beat the Nuggets 113-108 to win their third straight game. Not a great performance by any means for Cleveland, but the intensity level picked up considerably down the stretch to come back from down as many as 11 in the second half.

#Cavs trail the Nuggets 97-88 after three quarters. Some very unserious basketball by the local team. They gave up 38 points in that quarter defensively and took 14 of their 24 FGA in the quarter from beyond the arc.

Kenny Atkinson says that Dean Wade and Sam Merrill are both going to try it pregame but also noted that it’s a quick turnaround between now and Sunday afternoon’s game against Detroit.

#Cavs beat the Suns 129-113 to wrap up 2025. Pretty strong performance from a Cavs team that's looked much better lately than it had all season. Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 34 points and was one of six Cavs in double figures.

#Cavs lead the Suns 96-89 after three quarters. Suns aren't going to go away and have played really hard so far in this one. Cavs need to do a better job on the glass and taking care of the basketball. Second chance opportunities and points off turnovers keeping this close.

With De'Andre Hunter out sick, the #Cavs only played nine guys in the first half against Phoenix. I think it's notable that Lonzo Ball was not one of them.

#Cavs lead the Suns 67-54 at halftime. Second quarter wasn't as good as the first, but the Cavs should be pretty happy with how things are going. Energy level has been pretty high throughout the afternoon. Donovan Mitchell leads all scorers with 21 points.

#Cavs beat the Spurs 113-101 in what's easily their best win of the season. Don't think they could've drawn up a better response to Saturday's loss. As complete an effort, even if it wasn't the best basketball, as they've had all season.

#Cavs trail the Spurs 55-49 at halftime. Cavs offense really struggled in the second quarter. Neither team shot the basketball particularly well in the half, but the Spurs took 22 free throws and the Cavs took six. That's essentially the difference tonight.

#Cavs trail the Spurs 26-25 after the first quarter. Cavs led by as many as 10 but their offense really stalled out when Darius Garland went to the bench. That said, much better in so many different areas from the last time we watched them play.

#Cavs lose to the Knicks 126-124 on Christmas Day. Cavs led for over 35 minutes of this one but had brutal second and fourth quarters. They led by 17 in the fourth but couldn't get it done. Some good signs mixed into what's ultimately a bad loss.

Donovan Mitchell just threw down a lob from halfcourt from Darius Garland and the #Cavs are back in front 68-63. Very nice start to the second half for Cleveland.

#Cavs lead the Knicks 38-23 after the first quarter. Couldn't have drawn up a better start for the Cavs on either end of the floor. Donovan Mitchell leads with 12 points, Darius Garland has 9 and De'Andre Hunter has 6. Cavs are 6-of-11 from deep.
