League source confirms that #Cavs have agreed on a one-year deal with Thomas Bryant.

Koby Altman: Movement shooting, competitiveness, unique skill set led #Cavs to bring back Sam Merrill. He's a "mainstay." Called it a difficult decision with Ty Jerome going to Memphis & wishes him the best - feels like what team added can make up for playmaking loss.

Kenny Atkinson's gone on a deep dive on how to better use Jarrett Allen when an opponent goes 5-out. He calls JA "a vital piece" and that there will be some shifts in how he'll be utilized in order to help him out. #Cavs

Atkinson adds that combined with the Lonzo Ball move that the #Cavs "knocked it out of the park" this offseason. Loves Zo's IQ and "will lean on him" this year. Mentions the importance of making sure the team has him for the playoffs.

Kenny Atkinson calls Larry Nance Jr. pickup a "coup" for #Cavs. He likes his vet presence, knowledge of the organization and his "luxury" skill set. Mentions the uptick on the three-point volume and success, wants him to keep getting those up "High character."

Kenny Atkinson doesn't want to get into starting five specifics yet with a whole training camp ahead, but does share that De'Andre Hunter's had an "incredible" offseason. Atkinson had a goal to get to know him better over the summer. #Cavs

Koby Altman mentions that Darius Garland is back on the court doing basketball activities. No timetable. He'll be starting limited participation, but slowly. And before that, #Cavs are proud of his efforts in the weight room this summer when he couldn't be on his feet.
