Understated consequence of this: how can you convince your hospital board that it must keep offering trans youth care if one of the leftmost politicians in America set his new clinic at 19 and over? It sets a horrible precedent.

so far, much of the analysis of Callais out there is focused on what the Court's rulings did to the Voting Rights Act, which is reasonable but now I want to talk about what the Court did to the Constitution bc the threat of Callais goes far beyond the VRA alone

my most old person yelling at clouds opinion is that it's very rude to not put dashes in when writing out your phone number, like who can parse/read 1112223333? why not write it nicely as 111-222-3333, that's so much better!
