Rowan and Urianger are a slowburn babey! They meet in the Waking Sands and are friendly colleagues for a while. There's banter between them, but Urianger isn't convinced it would be proper to court Rowan until after Stormblood. Then, yannow, Shadowbringers happens and they get together.

The closest I've gotten to a Tank role is Gunbreaker for Rowan. The flow of combat suits her, but I don't think the Gunblade does necessarily (also that's Thancred's job rn). Summoner is close but I almost feel like she'd have to go with another Arcanist offshoot XD.

Rowan starts romantically passive, so a lot of the time it's simply accepting affection from her partner without fuss. Once she gets her feet under her, she'll copy what her partner does. Otherwise it's simply staying close.

Rowan's Ancient counterpart is Minthe. I remembered Minthe was the name of a nymph that was a lover of Hades and took it. And I distinctly remember not wanting her to be Persephone, because I liked the idea of Emet-Selch having a strained relationship with Azem during the days of Paradise.
