I love the quiet insistence of this--"This is where you-are-not-supposed-to lives" the line stepped over. I keep reading this one over and over.

The fourth stanza!! “where that’s-hard-to-believe is real” Absolutely brilliant! 👏👏

At first it stopped me, but then I really found it effective how you hyphenated the phrases to turn them into nouns.

The way you start this poem with the “That one? / Oh, you noticed.” is genius; it really draws you in and makes you feel more like an active participant in a conversation than a passive reader. I really had the feeling you were telling me a secret. Wonderfully done!
