Twice in the last six months I've been called by the NHS for extra tests following screening (just been for second follow up today). I have been given the all clear both times - but more importantly had I not been all clear those wonderful people were right there ready to care for me. +

First ever visit to Norwich Cathedral today. Lovely atmosphere. Staff and volunteers all polite, friendly, unintrusive. Bargain at £5 suggested donation - didn't feel the need to claim a clergy freebie. Love how they invite engagement with the meaning of the space.

I am on leave. I am sleeping a 2 minute walk from the North Sea. The water is hard. The tea is shonky. The sea will be chilly. I have bacon, eggs, mushrooms, a husband playing guitar in the next room and a keyboard to write on. TBTG.
