75 years ago today, the European Convention of Human Rights, ECHR, was created. The UK played a key role in shaping it. We should celebrate the ECHR & the vision of all who brought it to life. We must resist regressive & cynical moves to rip us out of the convention!

ββοΈ Clergy - what's your imaginary "other life"? This might be the one where you jack it all in and stack shelves (a common theme I think!) Or just the fantasy other life where God happened to call you to use different skills in a different place.....

I am a lover of pop music. All sorts of embarrassing nonsense. I was wondering if I had finally grown out of this as "K Pop Daemon Hunters" leaves me cold. But no - just heard Kylie's new π song. Terrible. But I'm dancing. π€¦πΌββοΈ

βοΈβ What draws you to buy a book? These days I seem to follow the trail from book to book - picking up references in one to lead me to another. I don't remember why I bought this - it's been on the bedside table for months - but can now confirm it's brilliant and just what I needed right now.

First ever visit to Norwich Cathedral today. Lovely atmosphere. Staff and volunteers all polite, friendly, unintrusive. Bargain at Β£5 suggested donation - didn't feel the need to claim a clergy freebie. Love how they invite engagement with the meaning of the space.

I was once asked in a sub-set of a job interview what music I would choose for my funeral. I chose sensible things. Now - Stanford's Nunc in B flat allowing - I am mainly planning being carried out to the reprise of "Do you hear the people sing" from Les Mis.
