My mini landscapes book is finished. Only had one hiccup where I sewed one bit upside down and had to unpick.

Cushion is finished!

Sewed borders on my mini landscapes. Now I need to make them into a fabric book.

Second craft of the day, some weaving on a piece of slate from the garden. The wool is one I picked up from the charity shop which was a nice find.

Made myself a little at journal today.

In an effort to keep my hands busy so I can't doom scroll I did this simple embroidery. It'll probably end up as a cushion.

I think the one thing we can all be grateful for today is that Nicholas Witchell is no longer the royal correspondent on the BBC.

Had a walk up to the Devils Pulpit this afternoon.

On Friday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Nutmeg. She gave us more than 15 years of love and joy. I'm going to miss my little fuzzy friend so much.

Two of my pet hates at the supermarket today. Firstly the woman serving me spent almost the entire time chatting to another member of staff whilst scanning. Then when I went to put my trolley away, someone had abandoned a large trolley in front of the smaller ones which I had to move.

Had a happy afternoon with my daughter making wreaths. Think I'll wait till the wind has died down to hang out on the door.

We're just outside of the Met Office red and amber zones but the wind is definitely strong tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get too much rain in the area. Lots of people affected before that don't need more misery.

Our old dog had started to really pick at her food and was losing weight so I changed the brand. She loves the new food. I've been mixing it with the old to use it up but she's really not impressed with that

In great news the company responded very quickly and another duvet is already on the way. If only all online shopping issues were dealt with so easily!

Ugh, ordered two single duvets and only one has arrived so now I have to go through the tedious process of trying to resolve it.

Getting the bunk beds ready for the grandchildren and managed to bang my head twice.

Seems when I went to the shop yesterday I got a screw in my tyre so that's now needing to be mended. Very annoying!

I've been slowly exploring all the footpaths I can easily walk to/along near my house. What is clear is that some farmers are very hostile to people using them based on how much effort (or not) they take to keep paths and stiles accessible.
