Remember, whenever you hear that “speed wasn’t a factor” in a deadly crash, what they mean is that the car involved wasn’t technically speeding. At least “not by much.” It presumes that the speed limit wasn’t too high to begin with. When it comes to death from collisions, SPEED IS ALWAYS a factor.

This is the main pedestrian access to a large new build estate in Holmes Chapel. The path is just 80cm wide and no attempt was made to actually provide a smooth transition to the pavement. These details should be picked up at the planning stage - but seldom are in Cheshire East.

Surely the practice of building lifeless,single storey, blank fronted, parking dominated shite like this in residential urban areas needs to stop. Address the fucking street and stack resi on top! This is an authority also claiming it can’t meet its 5yr HLS!
