The genre community seems worried about forced sameness, shadowbanning, control. I think they need to create some intentional space and support for media / bloggers / podcasts who will talk about the presses doing what's different. Even when their authors tend to be, by necessity, quieter.

Authors: what's a press you've worked with that you love? I'm querying for my new collection and I have my own list but really only want to submit to places where I know someone who's had a good experience! Bonus points: if you're comfortable, please DM if you've had a terrible press experience
