Any defense of the gaming industry and it's quiet control over genre writing is aggressively ignoring the prominent, multi-talented BIPOC women and QTI who are fundraising to survive because they can't find work. And you *cannot* ask them, trying to survive, to be the ones to speak about this.

The genre power structure, with gaming IP at its controls, is generating human slop to control you, just as AI is. And genre, broadly, does not want bravery. They want comfort. This is not negativity. This is urging people to wake up. Because we have a lot of power if we do. I love us.

I've been thinking a lot about how even mentions of AI "slop" (which I oppose) gets explosive applause or hundreds of likes, but someone speaking about actual hand-crafted disinformation to take down a truthful voice getting shared and added to by prominent platforms gets them broadly deplatformed.

I've been thinking a lot about how joyfully executed, bragged about meanness from ww online in some marketed pursuit of justice gets follows and likes, but any posts speaking truth about power and reminding we have solutions usually gets two likes, one from Singapore.

Re: Dream Foundry, I was banned for reasons, even if you 100% believe them, in disproportionate response to their own rules. And that's if you don't think the person who did it isn't linked to the abuser at Gen Con. Which there are definitely multiple reasons to think. Wake up, genre, wake up.

1) I periodically mention Racehush not because I'm not moving on (I have to and am) but because I want it UNAMBIGUOUSLY on the record that I told people, and they continued to support the misogynoir, misogyny, and ableism running our spaces. Not knowing at this point is aggressively patriarchical.

Anyway, I'll keep documenting all the names, roles, and evidence of Racehush. It's deeply harmful to me to do, but if no one else cares, I figure I owe this to genre history. I'm keeping multiple copies, including in unknown locations. It won't be erased.

Do any of you think about this? Is it, oh, but there's nothing I can do while you continue to promote and enable this corporation? Yes, I do wish I could go back. Do you know how *easy* that would be with the tiniest application of pressure and accountability? And I'd pack every room. Cowardice.

There are days I wonder whether Gen Con even received a whisper of feedback that banning someone for reporting abuse without even allowing her to speak in private, confidentially, anything - then featuring the direct enablers of the abuser the next year is not acceptable. Clearly it is acceptable.

And there is no one more dangerous than an abuser revealed.

This is about women and children as objects and tools and how abuse of them is not just tolerated and ignored but facilitated and celebrated.
